A Bunny Adventure

A weekend inspiration is a joyful poem of wishes and dreams and favorite things and Mother Nature’s blooming Spring….

A Bunny Adventure

Chocolate Mint blooming between a grassy field of violets and wild strawberries and woods of evergreens

Chocolate mint has been sleeping
By pachysandra creeping,
Dormant under the snow cover,
Unassuming plants together.

Now that winter is over,
They reach for the sunshine
Like curious bunnies
Longing for sweet clover.

Their yard, a masterpiece
Of mother nature’s landscape,
Is tapestry woven in bedclothes,
A goose down coverlet
Enclosed in cotton,
Flowers and knots
Together sewn,
Of colors and threads
Never forgotten.

Our favorite things colorfully sing and content they bring.

They blend so well,
A hug eternal.
You’ll never discover them,
Pillows of silence
Contentedly resting
In new light, vernal,
Ready to move out
Of latent potential.

Ah, I love soft things! Just bought a fleece blanket for my bed and discovered how soft it is! I’ve been working on a piece for Youtube today, putting words on screen to go with poetry read to Clair de Lune. I THINK it will work. I shall see when it plays back. I thought of it when I read some of your words about the Creator. Love, words. Thanks.

  2. Very nicely done! A feeling of sweetness about it.

  3. Awww this is just so lovely it leaves me feeling comforted
