Jealousy And Its Painful Consequences

Have we ever been jealous of someone?  I know this appears to be a silly question because of course we’ve all felt the pangs of jealousy towards another in our lives.   My intent with this post is to offer a deeper perspective into our feelings.

A more discerning prompt is that for every jealous feeling we have and by focusing on the assets of someone else, do we realize that we are giving away our power (self respect) and abandoning inside of ourselves that which we really have, that is divinely ours in the gift of God through our higher selves?  This in turn leads us to wearing a petrified version of someone else’s identity through our own attributions.  It is a method of being which causes us to be blind to our true selves because we allow our ego and desires to be in total control of shaping our walk.

Have we ever been the victim of someone’s jealousy?  These situations are also painful to deal with.  They often involve bullying, intimidation, manipulation and control energy, where the victim is made to feel less than by someone else; someone else, who hasn’t yet discovered how to understand their own self respect in order to accept themselves without worrying that someone else is better than they are.

Do we realize just how much “less than” energy we are potentially propagating by being jealous of someone else or by allowing the jealous feelings of someone else to affect our energy?    This energy is the resonance of low self worth by both parties and lends itself to disharmony in relationships, conflict, strife, even war.

Has one thought about this consideration?    To what degree are we searching to be accepted by others, social construction or by ourselves?  This is an opportunity to choose how we can better know ourselves.  Sometimes this choice is not easy to make.  I think the consideration involved in making such a choice boils down to the potential consequences of manifesting these behaviors, in order to feel accepted “by.”

What are the consequences involved in the feelings of acceptance that we are searching for?  I think this is what we need to ask ourselves.

I am prompted by my spirit today, to offer this creation of poetry and photos on the subject matter of jealousy.   My sense is that I’ve offered the female side of this condition because of feminine influence.   Women can be a powerful influence in relationships, ie friendships, family, romance, career.    Not than men are any less than women.  I think we can be a wonderful compliment to each other when we know how to feel the happiness of acceptance within ourselves.   In light of this however, the female consciousness I believe, is who God wanted me to discuss.

Jealousy And Its Painful Consequences

A forced claim
Is to the pain of jealousy.
Jealousy petitions both sides,

When feelings of unworthiness
Inside us reside.

The giver and the receiver
Of such painful living
Stand to lose everything.

Isn’t this the way it happens
When we covet
The material existence
Of our ego
And its desire in possessing?

The hand of God
Is coming back again.
He is the clouds of a storm
And He has shaped a form.

A summer storm over the Montana landscape is readying to deluge.

The face of a feline
Is causing a dark condition.
But even this tempest shall pass
Some day soon.

Her left eye
Sees the apple trees
And fuels her jealousy.
Her right eye has gone dark
And feeds her manifesting,
Which has been hidden from the light
By her deceptive sorceries.

The truth of her exploitations
Will come to pass,
When the highest force in the universe
Rains out her claim to tragedy.

The cloud cover is releasing its water.

In the bright light
Of plain sight
Her manifestations will be revealed
Uncompromisingly.

The apple trees
Will continue to fruit freely,
Regardless of her jealousy.

She preys on the beauty of other women
To give her face worth.
Oh where has the bright light of her soul gone?

Her true beauty is a crusted cloak
Of other faces she cares not to respect or know.
She just desires to feed
On the light of another’s glow.

This is a female consciousness
Out of control,

Creating a crazy competition
For some price of glamour.
And what she can’t see
Or chooses not to see
Is that she is lost in the darkness
Of her ego.

What she moves instead
Is a dark power trip,
And won’t choose to correct
Her bad behavior.

Why is there such a competition
For the female state to be a perfection?
Some blame should go to the media
And social construction
And their choices to profit
In fueling these female creations.
To me, this seems to be nothing
But a high stakes game of female elitism
And it’s hurting all of our population.

Think about this,
If aliens took control of our planet,
Our existing female social constructs
Would be blown to bits.

None of us women
Would be considered
As beautiful as an alien,
Or their alien curves
Or their alien digs.
I believe God has His way
Of judgment in this.
By delivering such
A humbling message.

For now, we’ll just have to face it.
We are female human beings
Living in a world
With socially constructed schemes
Such as these.
It doesn’t matter
How we manifest our living.

The truth of it is revealed by God,
When He is ready
For all of us to see
What we are doing to ourselves
By not paying attention to Him.

I believe we need to see
That our individualities
Have a right to be
And we can choose
To live them happily.

We could be a plain sweet clover
Under His sun
Growing alone
In a grassy meadow
Waiting for a bumble bee
To land its weight on.

Dreams of being in the presence of the delights in a summer meadow.

We could be a garden
Created by lovely hands
Profusions of beauty
A lovely family of columbine
Manifestations of love and acceptance
Can be ours

When we listen to Him.

The labor of love is evident in this lovely Montana garden!

Tell me why,
Our hearts won’t hear
And our minds won’t listen
Why, do we project hurtful conditions
To purposely cause painful feelings,
Instead of respecting
Each other’s individualism?

This is the pain of jealousy
And causes harm
To both parties in the situation.

To me, there are no words to describe this photo.

The butterfly of transformation
One day will come
When we can choose
To respect each other
Under His sun,
When we can pray for each other,
In forgiveness.

One Response to Jealousy And Its Painful Consequences

  1. What are the consequences involved in the feelings of acceptance we are searching for? Isaiah speaks of it plainly in his passage of The Glorious Future. We can have streams of water in a dry country when we make choices with God holding our hand. Adversely, choices without the counsel of our higher selves, thus God, will eventually lead us to fruitlessness.

9 Rise up, you women who are at ease, and hear my voice; Give ear to my word,
    You complacent daughters.
    10 Within a year and a few days you will be troubled, O complacent daughters;
For the vintage has ended, And the fruit gathering will not come.
    11 Tremble you women who are at ease; Be troubled, you complacent daughters;
Strip, undress and put sackcloth on your waist.
12Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine,
    13 For the land of my people in which thorns and briars shall come up;
Yea, for all the joyful houses and for the jubilant city.
14 Because the palace has been abandoned, and the populated city forsaken.
    Hill and watchtower have become caves forever, A delight for wild donkeys, a pasture for flocks;

15 Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high,
And the wilderness becomes a fertile field, And the fertile field is considered as a forest,
16 Then justice will dwell in the wilderness. And righteousness will abide in the fertile field.
17 And the work of righteousness will be peace. And the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.
    18 Then my people will live in a peaceful habitation, And in secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places;
19 And it will hail when the forest comes down, And the city will be utterly laid low.

20 HOW BLESSED WILL YOU BE, YOU WHO SOW BESIDE ALL WATERS, WHO LET OUT FREELY THE OX AND THE DONKEY.
