Humility: A Message From God Through Creatures And His Creation

The Mallard’s Dapper and Fluff,
Here they are again,
Together in their natural environment.
An agreed upon relating,
A species for biological procreation,
Just exactly the way God made them.

Easter Sunday….I had the wonderful happenstance of meeting up with Dapper and Fluff, once again.

This brings me to ponder
Charles Darwin’s Theory
Of Natural Selection.
Is this possibly a confirmation
Of God’s plan of creation
Juxtaposed to man’s way of thinking?

How enjoyable an education
This would be,
How simple this learning,
If it were so for us to see
A connection; a bridge between,
Mysticism and Science.

Yesterday, I found two clouds in the sky connected by a cloud bridge….that to me, looks like the form of a helix.

Each creature is naturally made
A certain way
Could this be considered
A link in the chain
Of God’s circle of life,
His creation’s breathing and living?

For each natural element
Thus provides affectation
In and to our natural environment.
We can not get away from
This bonafide happenstance,
The concept of emergence,
Life living, relating,
Sleeping and returning,
To the beginning,
To wakefulness,
In our existence.
Ecology is unity
In God’s Genesis.

Genesis 8:22      The Flood Subsides

“While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest
And cold and heat,
And summer and winter,
And day and night
Shall not cease.”

This proposed circular motion
Leads me to the examination
That since survival requires
A flowing unity,
Then how can one piece of
Earthly matter, be it human, creature
Land mass or water,
Be considered better than
Another piece of living matter
To any degree?
If this concept is wisdom,
Then no wonder the folly.

Survival requires homeostasis
For emergence of elements
To manifest existence,

And God’s plan is for us
To realize this,
Through His gift of humility.
Maybe then there will exist possibility,
For humanity to cease self destruction.

What joy to see
The way God manifests
His creation through creatures,
When we watch them
In their natural habitat
We are reminded
Of the simplicity of life
In all of its complexity
In their unassuming
Way of living.

Out for a Sunday paddle.

Security is taking over…I got too close and Dapper ignited his turbo paddle and Fluff is following right in his wake.

Genesis  1:22-25     The Creation

22  God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”

23  There was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.

24  then God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind:  cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kind,” and it was so.

25  God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good.

Are we not satisfied enough
With simplicity?
No, for it is written that
From the beginning,
Original sin has thrown its mark
Upon all of mankind,
Thus we are proven
That a striving population
Is our lifetime.

The return to humility,
Would rain upon us,
God’s creation,
It’s simplicity of life
In all of its complexity,
And then HE would open His gates
To the Tree of Life for us,
In His Garden of Eden
Called Eternity.

And until we choose this direction
He will keep raining upon us
The knowledge of His power
On earth in our living,
Through His myriad forces
Of humbling physical experiences,
Until we remember Him,
In reverence, thankfulness and contrition.

Job 38:  3-7     God Speaks Now To Job

3  “Now gird up your loins like a man,
And I will ask you, and you instruct Me!

4  Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?
Tell me, if you have understanding.

5  Who set its measurements?  Since you know.
Or who stretched the line of it?

6  Or where were its bases sunk?
Or who laid its cornerstone,

7  When the morning stars sang together
And all the sons of God shouted for joy?”

Job 40:  1-9          Job:  What Can I Say?

Then the LORD said to Job,

2  “Will the faultfinder contend with the Almighty?
Let him who reproves God answer it.”

3  Then Job answered the LORD and said,

4 “Behold, I am insignificant; what can I reply to You?
I lay my hand on my mouth.

5  Once I have spoken, and I will not answer;
Even twice, and I will add nothing more.”

6  Then the LORD answered Job out of the storm and said,

7  “Now gird up your loins like a man;
I will ask you, and you instruct Me.

8  Will you really annul My judgment?
Will you condemn Me that you may be justified?

9  Or do you have an arm like God,
And can you thunder with a voice like His?”

Man’s wisdom
Grasped from learning
On this land
Comes from the LORD’s foundation.

And every new invention,
Advances in scientific justification,
An atlas of logical evolution,
Has already been formulated
In God’s Plan.

These are intelligibilities
Of scientific understanding
Given to those
Upon whom God desires to bestow
His gift of communication
For the benefit of mankind,
Who is God’s resemblance to Him.
It is this we must remember.
All originates from Him.

Protection where the water way narrows and low lying brush shields from unwanted visitors. Sunday paddling once again.

We turn back now
To Dapper and Fluff.
They are ready to build a nest,
Hidden in the wilderness,
In happy bull rushes,
Somewhere along the edges
Of a flowing brook,
To procreate life,
The continuance of Mallards,
Fluffy baby ducks.

A simple message
Of God’s love for us
Are the Mallards,
Dapper and Fluff.
Their existence requires
Only the wisdom
To listen to Him.
This conception
Once understood,
Is simplicity,
A humbling experience.
