A Cry In The Sky

A Cry In The Sky

Yesterday,
In the sunshine,
So scented, the pines.

The Northwestern Pine Forest, one of the definite beauties we have in American.

Persistently a hawk cried,
Over the prairie meadows
Under the sky.

The day was bright
The air, warm and dry.
The shrill sound, so loud,
Burst through the quiet
And I saw with my eyes.

Thank you LORD
For helping me
Know my environment.

Thank you, hawk,
For your sound
Of Sanctuary, rising.
