New Roads On Ideas from History

New Roads On Ideas From History

A simple landscape brings peace.

Prairie and pine,
Ascension and sky,
Clouds and wind,
Moisture gathering,
Air currents flowing,
A soothing content,
Lifts our spirits,
And affords relaxation.

Even as
These natural conditions
Tell me
Of the need
For discernment,
Of advancing environments.

New veins of discrimination,
Groups innovating,
New roads,
Of freedom and politics,
Of spirituality,
Spin offs,
On ideas from history.

They bear diggs
Called militia,
Or sport new suits
Dubbed political conservatism.
I am unsure as to the
Whereabouts of God
In these manifestations…
What then happens to the purity
Of our acts of supplication
To God and the Holy Spirit,
And life in Salvation?

Either way,
They’re new realities happening
And they’ve become resonation.
Is this a good thing for Americans?
Time will tell,
And I know one thing,
These conditions
Wake us up to what has been.

Hopefully,
These new wheels are turning
For good reason.

Prairie and pine,
Ascension and sky,
Clouds and wind,
Moisture gathering,
Air currents flowing.

In nature,
God is constant,
And brings me peace
In the midst
Of these rumblings.
