White Lace Mountain

How do I walk from the ground to all the way up there?

How do I walk from the ground to all the way up there?

Is its height

A reach,

By achievement driven aspiration,

Where light shines

On foot steps’ navigation?

White Lace Mountain

White Lace Mountain

Or is height

A gift given,

Through humble living?

First hand knowledge

Is quite pressing,

And when the letting go

Is finished,

Height is present

Yet its pinnacle

Is non- existent.

Instead there pools a well

Where compassion’s resonance dwells,

And this spring outweighs selfishness.

Clarity’s forthcoming

Pervades decisions.

Walking through intent.

Walking through intent.

Protection

Is realization,

That spreads through one’s walking.
