Sir, Madame, Which Menu Please?

Have you noticed how speedily the retail shops and grocery stores have cleared out the Christmas venues and have already set up for Valentine’s day?

Wild Rose, a hint of cloves, on the trail, one day in the sunshine.

Wild Rose, a hint of cloves, on the trail, one day in the sunshine.  A woman’s countenance becomes a petal, as she gazes at the page of a poem.   Can you see this?  Which petal?  A blessing from one of God’s hierarchy’s of light.

In that age old game

To ensnare emotion,

One entices to induce

One to desire,

And we,

Duly ensnared,

Continue to circle

Back to each other.

But on the plane

Of beauty’s spire,

There exists true love.

Coraggio

For

Cuore,

Coeur,

Heart,

Corazon,

The pulsing of life

Is the beat

Of a drum,

Thumping,

In every breath

Of undying love.

A swirl,

A twirl,

Of long engaging,

Causes a follower

To be led on,

And yet,

This method of attraction

Leaves something wanting,

And needs the candle,

Called soul’s conviction,

Which,

Can only come

From God.
