Politics and Religion: Considering Conflict Engagement

A Divide And A Way To Unite The Ride

A view off Going-To-The-Sun Road, Logan Pass, Glacier National Park, Montana.

Politics and religion
Are like oil and water.
Yet in our living,
Each of some
Is contained in the other.

An element of politics is competition.
Religion is varied in doctrine
Can our Creator’s truth unite them?
Only if they humble upon one another.

If they don’t try,
Our Creator will continue
to humble us all.

Resurrection is upon us.
We, humanity,
And our earth
Can self destruct,

Or

Embrace His light
In our earthly flight
For the benefit
Of all of us.

Another great post. Thanks for sharing this. Spending time sitting down to writing short stories and poems is something I truly enjoy in life. I enjoy reading your blog very much.
