A Micro Perspective Of “The Tribulation” = The Sleep Of Self Deception

Betrayal’s Back Door

If we are sleeping
At the hour the LORD descends,
How will we see Him
To move our light with Him
At the end?

Betrayal’s back door
Is an unassuming portal,
A gateway of use
For harm and deceptions,
A relentless movement of stealth
For profit intentions.

The profit of winning over
By manipulation to vast degrees,
Victimization at its keenest,
With subtle plays
Of the appearance of righteousness,
A frame so delicate,
Of lies woven with the softest threads.

Be watchful,
For these conditions exist.
Therein lies the serpent, slithering.

Converging storm clouds form a dark “Snake” cloud over corn fields East of Route 47, Hadley, Massachusetts

If we are sleeping
At the hour the LORD descends,
How will we see Him
To move our light with Him,
At the end?

Betrayal’s back door
Is every relationship
That is vulnerable
Because there is a side of it
Not close enough to God
To discern the illusion
Of good rapport.

Betrayal’s back door
Is a meeting hall
Of righteous study decor
A place of beauty
That’s been breached
By forces who intend
To hurt someone there,
For spiritual treasures
They desire to pilfer
Through an appearance
Of innocence,
By deceptions
Of indirect proportions.

Such dark circumstances
Lay cleverly hidden
Beneath layers of pretense,
And move through
These unassuming portals
Of unknowing access.

Be watchful,
For these conditions exist.
Therein lies the serpent, slithering.

If we are sleeping
At the hour the LORD descends,
How will we see Him
To move our light with Him
At the end?

Faith in the LORD
Keeps us safe
From the snare called,
Betrayal’s back door.

Betrayal’s back door
Has come to the fore,
Deceivers, who use others
To steal from the one
They’re betraying.

Innocent victims possibly,
Or victims who’ve allowed
The seduction of bribery intentions.
Who are these victims?
They are all around us,
And we won’t see this condition
Until we discover the way
To rise out of believing
In false goodness.

Our family members, children,
Co-workers, anyone….
Anyone is an opportunity
For betrayal’s back door.
A new acquaintance perhaps,
Who doesn’t realize
Their new association
Is with one who intends
To use them to hurt another,
Is betrayal’s back door.

What pain this causes
In relationship.
The innocent victim
Who is taken
By betrayal’s back door
Blames the friendship
And the one
Who is the deceiver’s real target…
The so-called friend
Who could have been true
Without the affects
Of indirect psychological manipulation
To the relationship.

Relationship wonders
What went wrong
To congenial co-existence?
Being asleep to this
Is a self-deception,
An affectation
Called betrayal’s back door
And is a sad realization
Of the existence of
Intentional psychological harm.

Why?

A way to scam
In a tough economy
With the hardships of living
Is the reason
For betrayal’s back door,
For the profit of money
For the profit of power
For the profit of God’s light
Known as false prophecy
For the profit of personal glory
At the expense of
Human life and human dignity.

Be watchful,
For these conditions exist.
Therein lies the serpent, slithering.

If we are sleeping
At the hour the LORD descends,
How will we see Him
To move our light with Him
At the end?

The jet stream and sunshine dissolving dark storm clouds into glorious morning light over corn fields, East of Route 47, Hadley, Massachusetts

There is only one way,
To understand this micro perspective
Of “The Tribulation,”
That way is called, faith,
Faith in the One, Most High,
Will keep us safe
From betrayal’s back door.

24 June 2012.  Another after the fact addition.  I would like to include these words and a music video in this post.  This additional content, that coincides with the content in this post, supports the following questions:

Is the opinion that I am considering to form a belief about, for my highest good?

How do I position myself to know what is for my highest good?

24 June 2012.  I added the following music video to this post.  Cindy is performing “For What It’s Worth” by Buffalo Springfield.

1 Response to A Micro Perspective Of “The Tribulation” = The Sleep Of Self Deception

  1. selah says:

that cloud formation is amazing, and a little scary..

    I liked this:
    Faith in the LORD
    Keeps us safe
    From the snare called,
    Betrayal’s back door.

Thank the Lord that it is He who holds us, not we who holds ourselves..
