Thanksgiving 2011: A contemplation of daily vibrations = A message of man and a message of God.

Happy Thanksgiving on this 24th Day of November, 2011.  I embrace with joy those wonderful scents in our ovens.   In my opinion, there is no other day like our Thanksgiving Holiday.  This day we share with each other, gives us an opportunity to offer love and light and to share in the blessings we receive from our labors over the seasons, the bounty that the LORD has given us through the greatest blessing of all, our Earth.

Two mates under the bird feeder at my homestead in Massachusetts

I embrace an unfathomable perspective of our planet.  We would not exist without our Earth.  Think about this!  Did we humans have to buy a ticket to live on this ground or to breath this air courtesy of our atmosphere?   No!  Of course, we pay taxes and have to earn wages to live but these are elements of an existence created by man.  God gave us this planet!  A free offer of living!  A gift of life!

We are a humanity that creates a living and breathing global commerce out of our Earth, this great, good resource we have been blessed with to utilize to sustain our lives.  Taking the time in our daily living, to see from our hearts, His great light of this blessing, will continue to help us create our existence full of abundance and joy for ourselves and for each other.

A Message of Mankind and a Message of God

Towers of power
Elitist collars
Grooming hours
In halls walked for miles

Lawyers, court officers and entrepreneurs
Politicians and public safety professionals
Religious robes with large congregation holds
And in families, sibling rivalry rows
Organizations with commercial prowess
We, living our labors, all of us
The power of mankind
Swirling about, projected from our egos

They spire as high as
Can be gained
In a pie contest
Whose is the sweetest
With the best ingredients

When all is said and done
Removed from the oven
Then we see the truth of ingredients
All around us
A resulting mix of ebony
With fiercely sharp peaks
And a cobalt so shimmery
A glimmering certainty hue
Inflexible, immovable
Mountains of power

Yet a path
Winds through our passes
An invitation for us to walk
On His road
Where He blesses us freely
With snow falling gently
In blankets and masses
As we exist by these classes
Of power

There is a big difference
Between the power of mankind
And the power of God
One is forever striving
And He, the One, forever giving
For our receiving

You called me LORD
I hear You
In the name of the Holy Spirit
I remember who I am
Because of You
I love you God in Heaven
Thank You for our blessings
What is, was, and always will be
As You so greatly gave us
In Your book
Your Holy of Holies

Ecclesiastes:   THE FUTILITY OF ALL ENDEAVOR

1     The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem
2     “Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher,
“Vanity of vanities,  all is vanity.”
3     What advantage does man have in all his work,
Which he does under the sun?
4     A generation goes and a generation comes,
But the earth remains forever.
5     Also, the sun rises and the sun sets;
And hastening to its place it rises there again.
6     Blowing towards the south
Then turning towards the north,
The wind continues swirling along;
And on its circular courses the wind returns.
7     All the rivers flow into the sea,
Yet the sea is not full.
To the place where the rivers flow,
There they flow again.
8     All things are wearisome;
Man is not able to tell it.
The eye is not satisfied with seeing,
Nor the ear filled with hearing.
9     That which has been is that which will be,
And that which has been done is that which will be done.
So there is nothing new under the sun.
10   Is there anything of which one might say,
“See this, it is new?”
Already it has existed for ages
Which were before us.
11   There is no remembrance of earlier things;
And also of the later things which will occur.
There will be for them no remembrance
Among those who will come later still.
12   I, the Preacher, have been king over Israel in Jerusalem.
13   And I set my mind to seek and explore by wisdom
Concerning all that has been done in Heaven.
It is a grievous task which God has given to the sons of men
To be afflicted with.
14   I have seen all the works which have been done under the sun,
     And behold, all is vanity and striving after wind.
15   What is crooked cannot be straightened
And what is lacking cannot be counted.
16   I said to myself, “Behold, I have magnified and increased wisdom
more than all who where over Jerusalem before me;
and my mind has observed a wealth of wisdom and knowledge.”
17   And I set my mind to know wisdom and to know madness and folly;
I realized that this also is striving after wind.
18   Because in much wisdom there is much grief
And increasing knowledge results in increasing pain.

Isaiah 55:    THE FREE OFFER OF MERCY

1     “HO!  Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters,
And you who have no money come, buy and eat.
Come buy wine and milk.
Without money and without cost.
2     Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to ME, and eat what is good,
And delight yourself in abundance.
3     Incline your ear and come to ME.
Listen that you may live;
And I will make an everlasting covenant with you.
6     Seek the LORD while He may be found;
Call upon Him while He is near.
7     Let the wicked forsake his way
And the unrighteous man his thoughts.
And let him return to the LORD,
And He will have compassion on him,
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.
8     For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways, declares the LORD
9     For as the Heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts higher than your thoughts
10   “For as the rain and the snow come down from Heaven
And do not return there without watering the earth
And making it bear and sprout,
And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
11   So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth;
It will not return to Me empty,
Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
12   For you will go out with joy
And be led forth with peace;
The mountains and the hills will break forth
Into shouts of joy before you,
And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
13   Instead of the thorn bush the cypress will come up,
And instead of the nettle the myrtle will come up,
And it will be a memorial to the LORD;
For an everlasting sign, which will not be cut off.

I am walking
Through our mountain passes
In the valley of the LORD
Vanity of vanities
Right beside
His Holy precipitation
Do we realize
Our mountains of power
Grow narrower
As we strive higher
Grow narrower and spindly
Because we are unable to sustain our egos
In the force of His wind

And in the height of His atmosphere
His winds of truth
Fall gently and freely
On those of us
Who choose to receive Him
When we walk His path
In His valley
Through our mountain passes

A bountiful message of living our world in His existence of light.

Thank You LORD for our Earth
And all the blessings
You give us to birth
To walk our manifestations
In abundance and joy
Glory to You, LORD
Amen

1 Response to Thanksgiving 2011: A contemplation of daily vibrations = A message of man and a message of God.

  1. I’m so often amazed by the grandeur and beauty of this earth. God surrounds us with so much grace if we but look and listen.
